Mounting

Side mount or front mount?

Side mount boat lift in a slip

Side mount

The lift attaches to the dock on both sides of the slip. It's the most common setup, and it's available in every size from 4,500 to 20,000 lb.

Choose it if your slip has solid dock on both sides.

Front mount boat lift with walkboard

Front mount

The lift attaches at the front of the slip. The tank sits at the rear, so the back of the boat lowers first and loading feels like pulling onto a trailer. Available in 4,500 and 8,000 lb.

Choose it if you can't attach to the sides of your slip.

Econo Lift control box with red and black handles and raise and lower instructions

Easy to use

How to raise and lower your lift

Econo Lift controls have two handles: black (raise and lower) and red (lower only). Both start in the hold position.

To raise

  1. Make sure the red handle is in hold.
  2. Turn the black handle to raise and switch the blower on.
  3. At the height you want, switch the blower off and turn the black handle back to hold.

To lower

  1. Turn the red and black handles to lower.
  2. Once the boat floats free, turn both back to hold.

Don't run the motor to lower the lift. Want to do it from your boat? Ask about a remote, which has to be ordered with the lift.
